Study Timeline
History now has a Timeline view alongside Table. It combines a day journal with month and year density.
The Timeline can optionally appear on a public profile. Session notes remain private.
Richer logging
Sessions can now include optional titles, sources and tags. Reading activities can use pages and/or words, while immersion activities can use episodes.
History search now covers titles and tags.
Faster capture and recurring goals
Quick Add records a language, activity and number of minutes. Recent sessions can also be logged again.
Daily and weekly goals now reset each period. Weeks start on Monday.
Usernames and onboarding
Users can choose a public username, with a seven-day cooldown before it can be changed again.
New users now follow a guided setup: language, username, first session and an optional goal.
CSV import beta
CSV import is available from Export and import. Download a template, upload rows, preview them, then import.
Imported time awards XP and updates progress and goals. CSV import is in beta.
Late August 2026
The dashboard now includes a daily stacked activity chart. Profiles gained display names and bios, and a shortcut appears when vocabulary reviews are due. The History table also received improvements.
Apps are now a first-class study type. Duolingo, Babbel, Anki and custom apps can be logged, including through edit, bulk and template workflows.
History gained bulk tools to change language, activity or difficulty across selected sessions, as well as bulk archiving. A What’s new / Changelog area was added for product updates.
Earlier August 2026
A quieter visual refresh updated the product across light and dark modes, with a clearer logging UI. Smaller fixes included site icons, the favicon and a session-template bugfix.
