Product Roadmap

Where LinguaTrackr is headed

We build in public. This page is our honest account of what's shipped, what's being built, and what we're thinking about next.

Priorities shift based on usage data and the feedback we receive from learners. If something here matters to you, or you have an idea that isn't on this list, let us know via the details in the footer.

Rebuilt interface

A clean, focused redesign built around how you actually study. Consistent design language, better information hierarchy, and a proper light/dark theme.

Vocabulary & spaced repetition

Add words with translations, part of speech, difficulty, and examples. Review them with a flashcard system that schedules the next review based on your confidence rating.

Public profiles

Opt-in public profile pages at linguatrackr.com/u/username, showing level, streak, total hours, and languages. Includes a shareable stats card.

Goals & achievements

Set study targets by language and activity type. Earn achievements as you hit milestones. Track completion rates and success over time.

Language progress cards

See your current level, target level, and accurate progress towards the next level based on your actual logged study time.

Community feed

See recent activity from across the platform. Most-studied languages, active users, and study trends in one place.

Customisable usernames

High priority

Choose your own username for your public profile. Usernames will remain unique across the platform and subject to our content policy.

Study reminders

In development

Set a daily reminder time and receive an email nudge if you haven't logged a session yet. Configurable per day of the week.

Vocabulary CSV import

Bulk-import vocabulary from a spreadsheet. Map your columns to word, translation, part of speech, and tags. Useful for migrating from Anki or other tools.

Mobile app

A native iOS and Android app for logging sessions, reviewing vocabulary, and tracking progress on the go. Full feature parity with the web app.

Streak protection

Earn streak freeze tokens through consistent study. Use one on a missed day to keep your streak intact. Tokens are limited to prevent abuse.

Friends & following

Follow other learners, see their public activity in your feed, and compare streaks. Optional — everything stays private by default.

Weekly digest email

A summary of your week delivered every Sunday: total minutes logged, streak status, goal progress, and a comparison to the previous week.

Resource library

Save and organise learning resources (books, podcasts, YouTube channels, courses) per language. Share resources publicly or keep them private.

Recurring goals

Weekly and monthly study targets that reset automatically. Set a goal of 5 hours per week for Japanese and track your rolling completion rate.

API access

A public API for power users to push session data programmatically — from custom scripts, browser extensions, or integrations with other tools.

Anki deck sync

Two-way sync between LinguaTrackr vocabulary and Anki decks. Review data flows back to update your spaced repetition schedule on both platforms.

Group challenges

Create or join study challenges with friends — for example, “log 10 hours of Japanese in 30 days”. Leaderboard visible only to participants.

Offline mode

Log sessions without a connection. Data syncs automatically when you're back online. Particularly useful for the mobile app.
