What's new

What we have been working on lately.

  1. Latest

    Study Timeline

    • Journal your immersion over time

History includes a Timeline view (day journal plus month/year density) alongside Table. Timeline loads in pages and aggregates density in SQL so large logs stay responsive. Session notes stay private on public profiles.

    • Optional public timeline

Share your study timeline on your public profile. Turn it on under Profile visibility. Session notes stay private even when the timeline is public.

  2. Richer logs, faster capture, recurring goals

    • Titles, tags, and quantity metrics

Add an optional title/source and tags on any session. Reading can log pages and/or words; immersion can log episodes. History search covers titles and tags.

    • Quick add and Log again

From the dashboard, quick-add language + activity + minutes in a few taps, or tap Log again on a recent session to repeat it for today.

    • Daily and weekly goals

Set goals that reset each day or each week (Monday start). Progress only counts sessions in the current period.

    • Custom usernames and guided onboarding

Choose your public profile username (with a 7-day cooldown after changes). New accounts are guided through language, optional username, first session, and an optional goal.

  3. Import study sessions from CSV

    • Bring existing logs into LinguaTrackr

On Export and import, download a template or upload a LinguaTrackr export. Preview the file, then import valid rows. Session import is in beta, so check History after you import.

    • Same rules as logging a session

Languages must already be on your account. Imported minutes award XP, update language totals, and refresh matching goals. Invalid rows are skipped.

  4. Apps as a study type

    • Log language-learning app sessions

Choose Apps as your activity type, then pick Duolingo, Babbel, Busuu, Memrise, Anki, LingQ, or enter a custom app name.

    • Works across your workflow

App sessions are supported when adding, editing, repeating, templating, and bulk-editing sessions, and they appear in history and analytics.

  5. Bulk editing on History

    • Update many sessions at once

On Study History, tap Select, choose sessions, and change language, activity, or difficulty together. Fields you leave unchanged stay as they are.

    • Select a page or every matching session

Use filters first, then select the visible page or every session that matches. Only the sessions you selected are updated.

    • Bulk archive

Archive several sessions in one step. They leave History and can be restored later from Archived.

  6. New look and tools

    • Redesigned interface

A quieter layout focused on logging and reviewing study data.

    • Vocabulary and flashcards

Add words, track difficulty, and review them with spaced repetition.

    • Language progress cards

See where you stand for each language, with progress toward your target level.

    • Public profiles

Optional public profile page and shareable stats card.

    • Goals and analytics

Set targets by language and activity type. Track completion rates and study patterns over time.
